idea

Add some interactivity
Paper menu has been introduced in 18th century and hasn’t changed much.
Augmented Reality with tangible interaction
Not just scan and show the model or animation, but with tangible interaction
Automatic ordering
No waitress or waiter, all the process would become automatic

Web based/App based

App based
After gaining users, AR menu could become an app and provides services to the restaurants
Web based
More friendly to new user, and should be the trend in the future

Technology

Developed in Unity
With Vuforia, whose Computer Vision is pretty advanced
3D Models are all made originally with Maya
Button interaction are originally designed on the map, with the virtual button, but since the detection of you finger is not accurate enough, right now it is done with C# script and the interaction is on the screen of your device
Panorama stream is using Ricoh Theta
